Tenor

Biography 2018: Konstantin first started singing in a children’s choir at the age of seven. He earned both his undergraduate and Master’s degrees from Seoul National University, College of Music, and completed the Konzert exam at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg in 2017.

He has won many awards including First Prize in the Korea Voice Competition, the Neue Stimmen Singing Competition, the SWR Junge Opera Stars in Germany, as well as the Luis Sigall Competition in Chile. 

His operatic debut was in La Traviata as Alfredo at the Seoul Arts Center Opera House. Since then Konstantin has performed as Rodolfo in La Bohème and as Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore. In addition, he has toured as a soloist with the major orchestras of Korea, China, Japan and Chile. He also made a successful European debut in the role of Ferrando in Cosi fan tutte at Theater Freiburg.

Martin Dubé

Martin Dubé est chef de chant à l’Atelier lyrique de l’Opéra de Montréal et codirecteur artistique de la Société de musique de chambre de Québec depuis septembre 2000. Il a fait partie du corps professoral des célèbres Curtis Institute of Music et de la Juilliard School of Music et a travaillé à l’Opera Company of Philadelphia et au San Diego Opera. Il est coach en résidence à la Chautauqua Institution de New York depuis 1995 et a accompagné les cours de maître de grands artistes lyriques tels que Marilyn Horne, Elly Ameling, Sherrill Milnes, Marlena Malas, Licia Albanese et Renata Scotto.
