Tenor

Biography 2018: Indonesian tenor Satriya Krisna began his studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2012 after obtaining a first Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. He obtained his BA in Music in 2015, and then completed his Master’s under the tutelage of Henny Yana Diemer and Jan-Paul Grijpink.  

In 2017, he won the Third Prize, Audience Award and Student Jury’s Prize at the International Student LiedDuo Competition with pianist Felix Justin. Recently, he won the Judges’ Discretionary Prize of the Fulham Opera’s 2017 Robert Presley Memorial Verdi Prize and received a bursary from the Opera Awards Foundation. Concert engagements have included the Mozart Requiem, Bach cantatas and the Rheinberger Requiem in the Netherlands. Satriya is a member of the National Opera Studio young artists’ programme in London for 2017/2018.

Felix Justin Indonesia 1984-11-23

Felix Justin

Indonesian pianist Felix Justin completed his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at Utrecht University of the Arts under Henry Kelder, with further studies at the Royal College of Music in London and Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität in Vienna. Justin has participated in masterclasses by world-renowned pianists John Lill, Elisabeth Leonskaja, Barbara Grajewska, Piotr Paleczny, and accompanists Rudolf Jansen, Hans Eijsackers, Maurice Lammerts van Bueren, and Jan-Paul Grijpink. In 2017, Justin won the Third Prize, Audience Award and Student Jury’s Prize at the International Student LiedDuo Competition with tenor Satriya Krisna. Justin performs extensively in Indonesia and internationally as a soloist and chamber musician.
