Baritone
Biography 2018: Born in Shostka, Ukraine, Oleksandr Kyreiev graduated with a degree in vocal performance in 2009. From 2008- 2013, he studied voice with Vitaly Jmudenko at the Ukraine National Academy of Music, where he earned a Diploma of Higher Education and then a Master’s degree.
From 2011-2014, he was a soloist with the National Opera of Ukraine, performing the roles of Figaro in Rossini’s The Barber of Seville, Barone in Verdi’s La Traviata, Robert in Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta and the title role in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin. In 2013, he won Third Prize at the Neue Stimmen International Singing Competition in Gütersloh, Germany. Between 2014 and 2017, Oleksandr was a member of the Bolshoi Theater Young Artist Program.
