A young violinist gives us her daily thoughts.
This was a wonderful start! Today, I got to hear two violinists with immense talent. The technique was flawless, beautiful warm and fluid sound, and the musicality was splendid. Exactly what I look for when I play and listen to others. To me, what makes an accomplished musician is really what comes out from the heart through the instrument, sound, and very good technique.They inspired me so much! Both played pieces I love, and play myself. Right after their performances, I immediately wanted to go back home and practice! This was only two violinists in a day. And I’m already extremely impressed, inspired, and definitely ready for more! This week will be full of violins. Pure bliss!
