VIOLIN 2019 EDITION
Biography 2019: At the age of 19, Zachary Brandon has already distinguished himself in numerous international competitions and has been invited as guest soloist by many orchestras, including which the New World Symphony under the baton of Michael Tilson Thomas. As a student of the Colburn Music Conservatory with Robert Lipsett, he placed Fourth at the International Stradivarius Competition. This gave him even more drive to work hard and perfect his skills. “I am trying to refine my playing to a higher degree of excellence. There are so many things to work on, always. I know never, ever to give up! “ According to him, the best thing about being a violinist is the choice of repertoire which covers such a wide range of emotions. “It gives us the chance to explore our own personality through our interpretation,” Zachary says. When he is not practicing on his Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume violin made in 1844, Zachary likes to write pop songs.
