VIOLIN 2019 EDITION
Biography 2019: Born in Milan, Clarissa Bevilacqua grew up in Chicago and started playing the violin at age five. At nine, she was already making her debut in front of a 10 000 person audience, in Chicago. Since then, her journey has been marked by many successes. She is the youngest violinist to have been chosen to perform on the Stradivari collection of the Cremona Violin Museum in Italy, and she was one of three musicians chosen for the reality show “Hear Us”, broadcast in the United States in 2018. Clarissa is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, studying with the renowned Pierre Amoyal. If she is grateful to this teacher, as well as to the one who preceded him, Daniele Gai, for making her the musician she is today, it is her mother whom she believes influenced her most, because of her strength, kindness and wisdom. When asked what her most important quality was, Clarissa mentions without hesitation her unshakable determination. In fact, her motto is: ‘’nothing is impossible’’. She performs on a Ceruti violin, made in Italy in 1815.
