Montréal resounds with the music of the violin in 2026!

The Concours musical international de Montréal (CMIM) returns to the violin for 2026. The best violinists of the new generation are coming to Montreal to compete in an exceptional international competition, and to offer unforgettable performances for a prestigious jury and the public.

Violinists born between 1996 and 2009, inclusive, can now start preparing their applications in the hope of living the unique experience of the CMIM in 2026.

From May 27 to June 4, 2026, the Violin 2026 edition of the CMIM will be an opportunity to discover the stars of the new generation and witness moments of pure musical magic.
