VIOLIN 2019 EDITION
Biography 2019: Over the last few years, Olga Šroubková has won awards in over two dozen 12 violin competitions all over the world, including a First Prize at the Prague Spring International Music Competition in 2017. She started playing violin at the age of 4 and studied at the Prague Conservatory with Jiří Fišer. Between 2014 and 2015, she auditioned for the first chair at the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, which gave her the chance to perform as guest concertmaster with the orchestra in the second round of auditions. Besides the violin, Olga will be performing on a violin made by Januarius Gagliano in Cremona in 1771. She has been studying at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover in with prof. Adam Kostecki since 2014.
