The Committees of the CMIM 

The committees of the CMIM are at the heart of the organisation’s good governance. They offer targeted expertise that encourages the active participation of board members and certain qualified guests. CMIM committees contribute to informed and collective decision-making.

The committees of the CMIM play a crucial role in the strategic direction of the organization and in determining its activities. By encouraging this involvement and distributing responsibilities among various committees, the CMIM not only strengthens its ability to achieve its objectives and mission, but also ensures that it meets the needs of its stakeholders. 


Governance and Human Resources Committee
The principal mandate of the Governance and Human Resources Committee is to assure the CMIM and CMIM Foundation Boards of Directors that good governance, ethics, and human resources practices are respected and maintained.

Development and Fundraising Committee 
The CMIM’s Development and Fundraising Committee is responsible for helping to design and implement strategies to raise funds, foster partnerships, and ensure the organisation’s financial sustainability.

Finance and Audit Committee  
The Finance and Audit Committee plays a crucial role in overseeing the financial aspects of the CMIM. It helps to maintain financial transparency and to strengthen stakeholder confidence in the organisation.

Artistic Advisory Committee 
The CMIM Artistic Advisory Committee is comprised of recognized experts in the classical music field and its industry. Committed to the CMIM’s activities, this group of professional volunteers, artists, administrators, and cultural workers come together to advise the CMIM’s Executive and Artistic Direction. Through their engagement, the committee members advise the CMIM’s management, in order to further its artistic mission, while promoting the quality of its activities.
