After graduating from the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin and obtaining her Masters at the Opera Academy of Copenhagen, Fanny Soyer joined the Young Artists Program of the Royal Danish Opera. Her roles included Frasquita (Carmen), Second Niece (Peter Grimes), La Musica (L’Orfeo), Papagena (Die Zauberflöte, sung in Danish), Echo (Ariadne auf Naxos) and Soprano (Don Giovanni’s Inferno). This season, Fanny joined the Académie de l’Opéra-Comique in Paris.   

On the concert scene, Fanny performed the soprano solo in Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor and Saint-Saëns’ Oratorio de Noël alongside Orchestre philharmonique de Strasbourg, under the baton of Aziz Shokhakimov. She has also performed in numerous festivals with vocal quartet Quatuor Bonelli, which she cofounded in 2015, and has recorded the soundtrack for Wim Wenders’ documentary Anselm with the Slovak National Symphony Orchestra in 2023. An avid recitalist, Fanny participated in the Lied Akademie des Heidelberger Frühling in 2020 and 2021.
