Winston McQuade is the new voice of the MIMC
The Montreal International Musical Competition is proud to announce that Winston McQuade, extraordinary communicator and presenter, is the new voice for the 2013 violin edition. He will lend his warm voice to the announcements of the musical programmes of each candidate.
A passionate lover of music and the arts, Winston McQuade is the recipient of the Rogers Communication of the Canada Council for the Arts prize for his media coverage of the artistic scene. He has spent the majority of his professional career at Radio-Canada, where he was the presenter for such programmes as L’heure de pointe, Winston dans les îles, Winston reçoit and Rencontre à l’opéra. Since the fall of 2012, he is a regular commentator at the Alors on jase! program seen on Radio-Canada’s Television network.
