Biography 2019: \u201cGet up and work!\u201d is\u00a0<\/span>Lun<\/span>\u00a0Li\u2019s motto and he has been taking it seriously for a few years, judging by the musical projects he has been working on.\u00a0<\/span>Lun<\/span>\u00a0is a student of Ida Kavafian at the Curtis Institute. He is a member of a quartet, and concertmaster of the Pacific Music Festival Orchestra since 2017. He has also participated in Taos School of Music, Music\u00a0<\/span>From<\/span>\u00a0Angelfire,\u00a0<\/span>Four<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>seasons<\/span>\u00a0Chamber Music Workshop and the\u00a0<\/span>Music@Menlo<\/span>\u00a0international program. He does admit that, as a violinist, he feels there is too much pressure to have a perfect technique and he fears losing focus on the music. He describes himself as a calm and peaceful person, who loves to discuss about environmental issues. He can be found reading the popular manga\u00a0<\/span>Chibi<\/span><\/i>\u00a0Maruko Chan<\/span><\/i>, which he considers \u201ca great lesson in philosophy\u201d. He will be performing on a Balestrieri violin made in 1760.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
