Biography 2019: Considered one of the m<\/span><\/span>ost p<\/span><\/span>romising violinists of her home country, Latvia, Elina\u00a0<\/span>Buksha<\/span>\u00a0studied at the\u00a0<\/span><\/span>Chapelle musical Reine Elisabeth de Belgique with Augustin Dumay from 2011 to 2017.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>She currently studies with Christophe Poppen at the Hochschule\u00a0<\/span>f\u00fcr<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Musik<\/span>\u00a0und Theater M\u00fcnchen.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>She describes herself as an\u00a0<\/span>introvert, and<\/span>\u00a0likes to express herself through music and violin. Her major influence is mentor Midori\u00a0<\/span>Goto<\/span>\u00a0and Christoph Poppen: \u201cThey\u00a0<\/span><\/span>are<\/span><\/span>\u00a0incredibly\u00a0<\/span>generous, and<\/span>\u00a0have a great capacity for humility and empathy.\u201d She appreciates all sorts of different types of music: her favourite album is\u00a0<\/span><\/span>The Dark Side of the Moon<\/span><\/span>\u00a0by Pink\u00a0<\/span>Floyd, and<\/span>\u00a0looks up to German\u00a0<\/span><\/span>baritone<\/span><\/span>\u00a0Dietrich Fischer\u00a0<\/span>Dieskau<\/span>. If given the choice, she\u2019d go on a\u00a0<\/span>roadtrip<\/span>\u00a0with Freddie Mercury, famous frontman of the band Queen, to take advantage of his energy and creativity.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>She performs on a Domenico\u00a0<\/span>Montagnana<\/span>\u00a0violin\u00a0<\/span><\/span>made in<\/span><\/span>\u00a01723.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
