Soprano<\/h2>\n

Biography 2018: Suzanne Fischer completed her Bachelor of Music at the University of Edinburgh and a Masters in Voice at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin studying with Thomas Quasthoff and Wolfram Rieger. She\u00a0<\/strong>won First prize at the Oxford Lieder Young Artist Platform in 2016; the F\u00f6rderpreis for most promising young artist at Das Lied: International Song Competition in 2015; and placed 4th at the 2015 International ARD Competition.<\/p>\n

Operatic performances include\u00a0Ginevra<\/strong>\/Ariodante\u00a0<\/em>for Tristan & Associates and\u00a0Katja <\/strong>\/O.H.I.O\u00a0<\/em>for the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Gilda<\/strong>\/Rigoletto,\u00a0<\/em>Sophie<\/strong>\/Der Rosenkavalier\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Konstanze<\/strong>\/Die Entf\u00fchrung<\/em>. Suzanne has given song recitals for the Barenboim Excellence Foundation in Berlin, Liedfestspiele R\u00fcedlinger in Switzerland and Bieberstein Castle in Saxony. Oratorio engagements include\u00a0The Messiah<\/em>, Orff\u2019s\u00a0Carmina Burana<\/em>, Poulenc\u2019s\u00a0Gloria<\/em>, Faur\u00e9\u2019s\u00a0Requiem<\/em>, Brahm\u2019s\u00a0Requiem<\/em>, Bach\u2019s\u00a0St. John Passion<\/em>,\u00a0St. Matthew Passion<\/em>,\u00a0Christmas Oratorio\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0B Minor Mass\u00a0<\/em>and Mendelssohn\u2019s\u00a0Elijah.<\/em> She sings a range of song repertoire including Mozart, Haydn, Schubert, Schumann, Mendelssohn, Liszt, Berlioz, Brahms, Strauss, Debussy, Poulenc, Britten, Oliver Knussen and many more.<\/p>\n
