Biography 2018: Tenor Petr Nekoranec pursued classical vocal studies at the Pardubice Conservatory in the class of Jarmila Chaloupkov\u00e1. He also studied under the tutelage of renowned Italian tenor Antonio Carangelo and famous soprano Diana Soviero.<\/p>\n
Since September 2014, he has been a member of the Bavarian State Opera in Munich and its Opera Studio, where he has appeared in several roles, including the title role of Rossini\u2019s Le comte Ory<\/em> and Britten\u2018s Albert Herring<\/em>. In 2016, he joined the Metropolitan Opera’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program in New York. Petr is the winner of the Francesco Vi\u00f1as International Competition, where he also received an award from the legendary Placido Domingo. He won First Prize at the 2014 International Singing Competition named after the famous Bulgarian-Austrian soprano Ljuba Welitsch, Second Grand Prix at Concours International de Chant in Toulouse, and First Prize for lieder at the International Singing Competition in Karlovy Vary.<\/p>\nPetr Nekoranec is generously sponsored by Fondation Ronald Denis.<\/strong><\/p>\n
