Biography 2018: Mihail Mihaylov was born in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. After studying the violin, he began singing lessons at the age of sixteen. He graduated from the Pancho Vladigerov National Music Academy in Sofia, where he studied with Ivanka Ninova. Mihail Mihaylov made his opera playing the part of Count Almaviva in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia<\/em>, which led to various roles and performances in most of the Bulgarian opera houses as well as at the Macedonian Opera and Ballet.<\/p>\nMihail has performed at Royal Festival Hall, London (UK), the Kremlin in Moscow (Russia), Gasteig (Munich, Germany), Auditorio Nacional de M\u00fasica (Madrid, Spain), Palau de la M\u00fasica Catalana (Barcelona, Spain), Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Vevey (Switzerland), Osaka Festival Hall (Japan) and Teatro del Giglio (Lucca, Italy).\u00a0<\/p>\n
In 2015, Mihail won the Grand Prize at the Romansiada International Song Competition (Moscow, Russia) and Second Prize at the 4th<\/sup> Richard Strauss International Chamber Music Competition (Sofia, Bulgaria).<\/p>\nMihail Mihaylov is generously sponsored by Les Productions Denise Robert.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n
