First prize<\/strong><\/p>\n Piano 2017<\/span><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Biography 2017: Following his win at the 2017 Concours Musical International de Montr\u00e9al piano edition, Zolt\u00e1n Fej\u00e9rv\u00e1ri joined the Kirshbaum Associates Roster. Recipient \u00a0of a Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship, he has appeared in recitals throughout Europe and the United States in such prestigious venues as Carnegie\u2019s Weill Hall in New York, the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, the Library of Congress in Washington DC, Gasteig in Munich, Lingotto in Turin, the Palau de M\u00fasica in Valencia, the Biblioteca Nacional de Buenos Aires and the Liszt Academy in Budapest. He has performed as a soloist with the Budapest Festival Orchestra, the Hungarian National Orchestra, the Verbier Festival and Concerto Budapest Orchestras among others, under such conductors as Iv\u00e1n Fischer, Zolt\u00e1n Kocsis, Ken-Ichiro Kobayashi, and G\u00e1bor Tak\u00e1cs-Nagy.<\/p>\n Zolt\u00e1n Fej\u00e9rv\u00e1ri is a passionate chamber musician. He has collaborated with both the Keller and Kod\u00e1ly Quartets and has worked with such musicians as Gary Hoffman, Joseph Lin, Cristoph Richter, Andr\u00e1s Keller, Radovan Vlatkovic, Ivan Monighetti, Frans Helmerson, Steven Isserlis. He has been a participant in Kronberg\u2019s \u201cChamber Music Connects the World\u201d program, Prussia Cove\u2019s \u201cOpen Chamber Music\u201d, Lisztomania in Chateauroux, the Tiszadob Piano Festival and Encuentro de M\u00fasica in Santander. At the invitation of Mitsuko Uchida, he participated in the Marlboro Music Festival during the summers of 2014 through 2016.<\/span><\/p>\n Zolt\u00e1n Fej\u00e9rv\u00e1ri\u2019s recording of Liszt\u2019s Mal\u00e9diction\u00a0with the Budapest Chamber Symphony was awarded the \u201cGrand prix du Disque\u201d in 2013. His CD of four Mozart violin sonatas, with violinist Ern\u0151 K\u00e1llai, was released in 2014 by Hungaroton.<\/span><\/p>\n Distinguished pianist Andr\u00e1s Schiff chose Zolt\u00e1n Fej\u00e9rv\u00e1ri for his \u201cBuilding Bridges\u201d series created to highlight young pianists of unusual promise.\u00a0 Under this aegis Mr. Fej\u00e9rv\u00e1ri\u00a0will give recitals in season 2017-18 in Berlin, Bochum, Brussels, Z\u00fcrich and Ittingen among other cities.<\/p>\n Since 2014 Zolt\u00e1n Fej\u00e9rv\u00e1ri, has been teaching\u00a0at the Chamber Music Department of the Liszt Academy of Music.<\/span><\/p>\n Website
