I had always loved music and wanted to try playing an instrument. There happened to be a violin studio near my home, so I decided to\u00a0give it a try, and that became the beginning of my journey with the violin.\u201d<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0After graduating\u00a0from\u00a0the\u00a0Tokyo College of Music High School, he\u00a0became\u00a0a full scholarship student at the Manhattan School of Music (Bachelor of Music) and\u00a0is also\u00a0a full scholarship student at the Tokyo College of Music\u00a0(Artist Diploma), studying with Koichiro Harada, Lucie Robert, and Mayuko Kamio.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335557856&quot;:16777215,&quot;335559739&quot;:90}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">In April 2025, Koshiro won First Prize at the inaugural Ion Voicu International Violin Competition. Previously, he won Third Prize at the Long-Thibaud International Music Competition in 2023, and Fifth Prize at the Amici di Paganini Association Award (along with a special prize for Best Contemporary Music Performance), and the Dr. Enrico Costa Memorial Award at the 57<\/span><sup><span data-contrast=\"none\">th<\/span><\/sup><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0International Violin Competition &#8220;Premio Paganini&#8221; in<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a02023.\u00a0Other\u00a0prizes\u00a0include\u00a0the IMA Music Award at the Ishikawa Music Academy in 2018\u00a0at\u00a0the age of 13,\u00a0and\u00a0First Prize at the Cecilia International Competition in 2016, among others. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">In August 2023,\u00a0Koshiro\u00a0performed at Suntory Hall in the 80<\/span><sup><span data-contrast=\"none\">th<\/span><\/sup><span data-contrast=\"none\"> Birthday Anniversary Concert for Nobuko Imai, under the baton of Kazuki Yamada, performing with Imai herself and receiving favourable reviews. \u201cI had the great honour of performing Mozart\u2019s\u00a0<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"none\">Sinfonia Concertante<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0with her;\u00a0it was an incredibly inspiring and joyful\u00a0experience!<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335557856&quot;:16777215,&quot;335559739&quot;:90}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">In 2024, he made his debut performing with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Tadaki Otaka.
