Both of her parents being pianists, she was introduced to music at a very young age. \u201cWe were always listening to all styles of music in the house. One day, I told my parents that I wanted a blue violin, and that was the beginning of my musical journey.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u201d\u00a0Chiara\u00a0completed her\u00a0Bachelor\u2019s\u00a0degree at\u00a0the Jacobs School of Music\u00a0at\u00a0Indiana University,\u00a0Bloomington,\u00a0and her\u00a0Master\u2019s\u00a0degree at the\u00a0Musikakademie\u00a0Basel. She\u00a0is now studying at the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin under Antje\u00a0Weithaas.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;335559739&quot;:90}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Chiara reflects on what makes a performance memorable: \u201cThe performances I most enjoy are the ones where you feel really connected to the audience, where you share the energy of the hall and you are completely in the music&#8230; when you are able to move the audience and get something back from their listening and energy as well.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">A prizewinner at major competitions such as the International Joseph Joachim Violin Competition (2021), the International Johannes Brahms Competition P\u00f6rtschach, the Hudson Valley String Competition, and the Rahn Musikpreis Z\u00fcrich, she has performed as a soloist with orchestras including the NDR Hannover, the G\u00f6ttinger Symphonieorchester, the Philharmonie Salzburg, and the Camerata Bern. Festival appearances include the Heidelberger Fr\u00fchling, the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the Davos Festival, the Lockenhaus, and the Elba Music Festival.
