Piano 2024<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

French pianist Tom Carr\u00e9, named the R\u00e9v\u00e9lation Classique<\/i> of ADAMI 2023, \u201ccaptivates with his singular voice\u201d. His first album, Noctuelles<\/i>, published by Scala Music in January 2023, was unanimously praised by critics and received a CHOC from Classica.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Born in 1998 in Carcassonne, Tom began studying the piano at the age of 4 in his hometown, then began his studies at the Conservatoire in Toulouse. After meeting pianist and teacher Denis Pascal, Tom chose, at the age of 17, to fully dedicate himself to his instrument. Two years later, he was admitted into his class at the Conservatoire National Sup\u00e9rieur de Paris, where he successfully obtained his Master’s degree in 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

His musical journey has been enriched by meeting artists such as Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Heisser, Claire D\u00e9sert, Michel B\u00e9roff, Hortense Cartier-Bresson, Akiko Ebi, Jean-Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Neuburger, Fran\u00e7ois Salque, Miguel Da Silva, the Wanderer Trio, the Jerusalem Quartet, and the Diotima Quartet.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Tom Carr\u00e9 is particularly devoted to the French and Hungarian repertoire of the 20th century. This year, he joined the Brahms 23\/24 class of the Philippe Jaroussky Musical Academy, where he is also guided by C\u00e9dric Tiberghien.<\/span><\/p>\n
