Yewon Han is a soloist at the Staatstheater Darmstadt for the 2024 – 2025 season where her roles include Adina in L’elisir d’amore, Clorinda in La Cenerentola, and the title role in Valtinoni’s Der kleine Prinz. She was a member of the Zürich International Opera Studio from 2022 to 2024 where she portrayed Titania in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Najade in Ariadne auf Naxos. She will return to Opernhaus Zürich to portray Fiakermilli in Arabella in 2026.
After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Voice at Seoul National University, Yewon Han participated in the Korea National Opera Studio’s Young Artist Program. Her previous opera roles include Amahl in Amahl and the Night Visitors, Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi, Papagena in Die Zauberflöte, and Adele in Die Fledermaus.
