Seungmin
Shin

Seungmin Shin started playing piano at the age of 4, studying in Yewon with Dahye Choi. She is currently studying at Seoul National University with Aviram Reichert. Most recently, she performed a recital in Kumho Art Hall, performing Chopin Études, Op.10. 

She has participated in international competitions, winning 1^st prize at Tel-Hai Piano Master Classes concerto audition (Israel), 2^nd prize in Yamaha USASU young artists international senior piano competition (USA), 2^nd prize in Kirov international music competition, 1^st prize in Dinu Lipatti international piano competition, and was a semi-finalist in the Cleveland international competition for young artists. In Korea, she won 2^nd prize in the Busan MBC music competition, 3^rd prize in the KBS Hanjeon music competition, 1^st prize in the Young Chang music competition, and 1^st prize in the Eumyeon music competition.
