Indonesian tenor Satriya Krisna began his studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2012 after obtaining a first Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. He obtained his BA in Music in 2015, and then com pleted his Master’s under the tutelage of Henny Yana Diemer and Jan-Paul Grijpink. In 2017, he won the Third Prize, Audience Award and Student Jury’s Prize at the International Student LiedDuo Compe tition with pianist Felix Justin. Recen tly, he won the Judges’ Dis cretionary Prize of the Fulham Opera’s 2017 Robert Presley Memorial Verdi Prize and recei ved a bursary from the Opera Awards Foundation. Concert engagements have included the Mozart Re quiem, Bach cantatas and the Rheinberger Requiem in the Netherlands. Satriya is a member of the Dutch National Opera Studio young artists’ programme for 2017/2018
