Sarah Pratt does her advanced study at Yale University with Peter Oundjian in addition to taking private lessons with David Stewart, Pinchas Zukerman, Marietta Orlov, Boris Berman and members of the Tokyo String Quartet. In 1998, she placed first in the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition. The year before, she finished second in the Canadian Music Competition’s National Finals. Sarah Pratt has been concertmaster with several orchestras, and is currently a member of the first violin section of the New Haven Symphony Orchestra.
