Born in Khmelnitsky, Ukraine, Ruslana studied at the Kyiv Conservatory with Maria Stefiuk. In 2014, she earned a Master’s degree in vocal performance.
From 2014 – 2017, Ruslana was a member of the Young Artist Program of the Bolshoi Theatre where she performed Barbarina in Le nozze di Figaro, in Don Carlo, Lisa in La Sonnambula, Frasquita in Carmen and Brigitta in Iolanta. She took part in numerous chamber concerts in the Beethoven Hall of the Bolshoi Theatre performing Russian, French and German art songs. Her repertoire also includes Violetta in La Traviata, Despina in Così fan tutte, Marfa in The Tsar’s Bride and the title role in The Snow Maiden by Rimsky-Korsakov.
In 2017, Ruslana was a finalist at two prestigious vocal contests: Operalia and the Queen Sonja Inter national Music Competition.
