Born in Shostka, Ukraine, Oleksandr Kyreiev gra dua ted with a degree in vocal performance in 2009. From 2008 – 2013, he studied voice with Vitaly Jmu denko at the Ukraine National Academy of Music, where he earned a Diploma of Higher Education and then a Master’s degree. From 2011 – 2014, he was a soloist with the National Opera of Ukraine, perfor ming the roles of Figaro in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia, Barone in Verdi’s La Traviata, Robert in Tchai kovsky’s Iolanta and the title role in Tchaikovsky’s Evgeny Onegin. In 2013, he won Third Prize at the Neue Stimmen International Singing Competition in Gütersloh, Germany. Between 2014 and 2017, Olek sandr was a member of the Bolshoi Theater Young Artist Program.
