Lauren Margison, soprano, was a 2017 George London finalist and prize winner and was the youngest finalist to appear in the Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg Singing Competition.
She sang Micaela in Carmen (Brott Opera) and Marguerite in Faust (Highlands Opera Studio), as well as Fiordiligi in Così fan Tutte in August 2017. She has appeared in the Gala de Québec, as well as with the PRISMA Festival, as the soprano soloist in Strauss’s Four Last Songs. She sang Sœur Mathilde in Dialogues des Carmelites with Opéra de Montréal during her first season with the Atelier Lyrique. She returned for a second season in September, where she sang Clorinda in La Cenerentola with Opéra de Montréal, as well as Missia in La Veuve Joyeuse in 2018 as part of the Atelier Lyrique show. She continues her vocal training under the tutelage of Valerie Kuinka and Richard Margison.
