Junho Hwang begins his professional career this season as a member of the Opernstudio at Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin. He sings Goro in Madama Butterfly, a Captain in Simon Boccanegra, and a Trojan in Idomeneo. Past roles also include Benvolio in Gounod’s Romeo et Juliette.
Junho previously studied at Seoul National University and is currently earning a master’s degree at the Hanns Eisler School of Music in Berlin.
