Pianist Élisabeth Pion enjoys an active career as a soloist, chamber musician, and artistic collaborator. 

Highlights of the 2023 – 2024 season include an invitation to IMS Prussia Cove’s Open Chamber Music, a recital tour in China, performances with the Orchestre Métropolitain & Kensho Watanabe, Arion Orchestre Baroque & Mathieu Lussier, the Orchestre symphonique de Trois-Rivières & Alain Trudel, and a second recording for ATMA Classique, with Arion Orchestre Baroque.

In 2022 – 2023, Élisabeth made her concerto debut in the USA with the Toledo Symphony, her debut in Canada with Brott Music Festival’s Orchestra; she presented a solo recital at St-John’s Smith Square in London.

Élisabeth is an alumna of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where she worked with professor Ronan O’Hora. She has also completed the ​“Conducting from the keyboard” course with Ricardo Castro at the Scuola di musica di Fiesole.

In 2018, Élisabeth was named as one of CBC’s 30 Hot Canadian Classical Musicians under 30, and was also selected as one of 2018’s 15 Rising Stars by La Scena Musicale.

Élisabeth has been active in performing on fortepiano,and is also fascinated by classical improvisation and cadenza writing. She is also the co-founder and co-artistic director of the Festival Unisson in Canada, with cellist Agnès Langlois.
