Fray

By the age of fourteen, David Fray had won gold medals in piano, chamber music and theory at the Conservatory in his native city of Tarbes. In 1999 he entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris, where he studied with Jacques Rouvier. Three years later, he undertook advanced studies in chamber music (piano trio). He has been invited to appear on some of the world’s foremost stages, including those at the Cité de la musique, the Mogador Theater, the Festival of La Roque d’Anthéron and Alti Hall in Kyoto. In 2003 he received the Diploma of Outstanding Merit at the fifth International Competition in Hamamatsu, Japan.
