Zhu

Dan Zhu made his concert debut at New York’s Carnegie Hall at the age of 18, performing Tchaikovsky’s Concerto, and has since give numerous concerts throughout North America, Europe and Asia. He has played with the Belgian National Orchestra, the Chinese Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestre National d’Île-de-France and the Wallonia Royal Chamber Orchestra. As a chamber musician, he took part in the Marlboro Music Festival with Richard Goode, Samuel Rhodes and the Orion String Quartet. He is a laureate of the Queen Elisabeth of Belgium International Music Competition, received a bronze medal from the Sendaï International Competition in Japan and the China International Violin Competition, and won first prize at the Waldo Mayo Memorial Competition for Young Gifted Violinists. Dan Zhu has worked with Lucie Robert, Gérard Poulet, Ruggiero Ricci and Aaron Rosand.
