Semifinalist
Recently graduated from the Canadian Opera Company’s prestigious Ensemble Studio, Ariane Cossette holds degrees from the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal and l’Université de Montréal.
Ariane’s roles for the Canadian Opera Company include Marguerite in Faust , Norina in Don Pasquale , Pepik and Woodpecker in The Cunning Little Vixen and Frasquita in Carmen. As a concert soloist, Ariane made her debut in France during the Choeurs Éternels concerts in 2018 under the baton of Andrei Feher, and returned in 2019, this time alongside maestro Aldo Salvagno. In recent years, Ariane Cossette has performed with many orchestras in eastern Canada and participated in the Internationale Meistersinger Akademie in 2024. This summer, she joins the Merola Opera Program in San Francisco.
