In addition to these live broadcasts, the final round will be heard internationally thanks to Radio de Radio-Canada’s partnership with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).

NEXT EDITION: PIANO 2014 (MAY 26–JUNE 6)
The MIMC plays a key role in the finest tradition of classical concert music. The Competition seeks to discover and support young singers, violinists, and pianists who have distinguished themselves as masters of their art. Since the very first edition, dedicated to voice in 2002, nearly 2,000 candidates have applied to take part in the various editions, and, of these, more than 300 were given the opportunity to perform in Montreal, to the great delight of music lovers. The MIMC is a member of the World Federation of International Music Competitions, and of the Alink-Argerich Foundation.
